Leadership

“Together, we’ll help keep your mission going strong and enhance programs to meet community needs.”

Jim Shannon
Executive Vice President Development, LHP

Through a collaborative partnership, community leaders, hospital leaders and LHP make important decisions about how the hospital fulfills its role in the community. We respect each hospital partner’s historic mission, support it and help expand it to address changing needs.

Our joint venture model includes a community needs study, and the joint venture partnership is structured in a way that frees up capital to focus on additional issues.

Communities also benefit in other important ways that can include the following:

  • Economic impact through the addition of jobs related to new healthcare services or facility expansions
  • A boost in ability to recruit new businesses and physicians due to state-of-the-art medical facilities
  • The impact of new sales and property taxes paid by the joint venture
  • Direct contributions to community charities, as part of our dual commitment to the joint venture relationship and our role as a proactive corporate citizen
  • Improved health and well-being in communities whose needs are being met with customized programs and services
