Joe Johnson, Vice President Legal Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer

A native of Waco, Texas, Mr. Johnson was a partner in the Dallas law firm of Needham Johnson for 24 years where he litigated complex personal injury cases including medical malpractice and products liability cases. His experience in the courtroom has made him a valuable asset as he oversees insurance procurement, litigation, and risk management; legal operations; and due diligence for new acquisitions for LHP Hospital Group.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Johnson served as vice president of legal affairs of Triad Hospitals, Inc., where he was responsible for managing all litigation and dispute resolution matters. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Texas State Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
