Larry Schunder, Senior Vice President of Business Processes and Chief Information Officer

Mr. Schunder’s experience in information technology has involved a wide variety of communication technologies, such as electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) implementation and refinement, disaster recovery and business continuation, desktop compatibility/security with HIPPA, and protected health information (PHI) compliance measures. He is currently involved in tactical and strategic decision-making processes for corporate and facility information technology, including implementing a corporate-wide decision support and business intelligence strategy and enabling physical and clinical access to information technology.

Previously, Mr. Schunder served as chief operating officer and president of Business Process Outsourcing and was equity owner of the Domestic and Overseas Operations of PHNS. He also managed various aspects of health information management (HIM), including department oversight, chart management, coding and auditing, transcription, and proper storage/destruction of electronic and physical records. In addition to his background in information technology, he is experienced in revenue cycles and business process automation. Mr. Schunder received a bachelor of business administration in data processing and analysis from the University of Texas.
