Kent Smith joins LHP as vice president of IT operations. His 30 years of experience in all aspects of IT will serve him well as he oversees IT infrastructure engineering and operational functions for Systems, Network (VOIP and data), and Storage for LHP. Smith will also be responsible for IT service management processes (ITIL), IT audit management, end-user computing management, and data center management. Smith comes to LHP from Anthelio Health, formerly PHNS, where he served as chief technology officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla.
Robert D. Reeves, Jr., CPHIMS, also joins LHP as vice president of information systems and technology. In his new role, Reeves will oversee strategic and operational governance processes as well as organizational and IT strategic planning. He previously served as chief information officer at Texas Regional Medical Center and brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare IS operations and management. Reeves hold Bachelor of Science degrees in computer science and psychology from University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, La.

Janis Offret RN, MSN, has been appointed to the position of division director of operations and integration. Prior to joining LHP, Offret served as chief nursing officer at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Ariz., where she oversaw the day-to-day nursing operations for a variety of services including inpatient and outpatient surgery, women’s health, emergency services, and wound care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Akron General Medical Center School of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Akron, both in Akron, Ohio.
